GEN: IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I, John Eubank of Albemarle County & State of Virginia being in an imperfect State of body tho in
GEN: perfect mind and memory; knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament
GEN: that is to say principally & first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it & my body
GEN: to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian manner at the Discretion of my Exors. hoping at the General Resurrection to
GEN: Receive the same by the Might power of God and as touching such worldy Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this
GEN: life I give Devise and Dispose of the same in the following manner & form: I will that all my just debts be paid in convenient
GEN: time after my Decease I will that my Orange Tract of Lands be sold anddivided between my two sons John and James Eubanks
GEN: giving unto John Two parts & James one & my Hartware Tract to be equally divided betweensaid John & James. The Tract whereon
GEN: I now live of one hundred & sixty four acres I give unto my son William Eubank. My seventy Acre Tract of land joining Moor.
GEN: I give unto my daughter Nancy Eubank together with a Negroe boy called Phil & mare colt called Fancy & the bed she hath in
GEN: possession to her & her heirs forever. I give unto my son John Eubank one Negroe woman called Phillis. I lend unto my
GEN: Daughter Betty Fortin Fifty pounds cash during her natural life& at her decease to return to my hears and in likemanner I lend
GEN: unto my daughter Sarah Fortin firty pounds. Item, I give unto my Daughter Franky Gilmer firty pounds to her and her Heirs
GEN: forever. I give unto my wife Hannah Eubank a Duck Feather bed and furniture & a mare called Philley. The balance of my horse
GEN: kind and stock of all sorts together with the Balance of my household furniture & plantation utentials are to be sold &
GEN: divided between five of my children, namely John, James, William, Franky & Nancy (Together with the Remains of my Fortune to
GEN: John & James Ten pounds a peace in that division more than the others. I give to my son William my large Dutch gun & lastly I
GEN: do constitute and appoint Samuel Murrell, John Eubank, & James Eubank Executors to this my last will & Testament. I do hereby
GEN: utterly disallow revoke & disannul all & every other former Testaments Will Legacies bequeathed & Executors, by me in any wise
GEN: before Named or Willed Ratifying & confirming the within & no other to be my last Will & Testament In Witness whereof I have
GEN: hereunto set my hand & seal this Twenty fourth day of March in the year one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine
